چکیده

Older infants suffer from tears at pontomedullary junction, petechial hemorrhages and cellular necrosis. By one year of age sutures are closed and skull becomes rigid. Glial cell proliferation, synaptic connections, and dendrites arborization progress logarithmically till two years of age. Myelinization begins at first year and progress till 10 year of life.
